We Are Thankful!!

After all the winter mess, we have so much to be thankful about! Jeremiah has now started to cruise and use a walker! He is becoming much stronger becuase of all the games we have been playing with him! He has some strange toe turning, but all is looking better with his physical development. The snow is now melting, and praise the Lord, we actully have some WARM weather!!! Our huge Sprinter van was stuck for over a week. It was very funny since we can't all go anywhere together in our other car. We would have to have rides for some of us to get places while the others went in our smaller SUV. We have started selling shirts to raise money for our next adoption which is going well. Right now we are still waiting on the Readoption paperwork to go through court here in Springfield. After Wil and Jay's cases pass(which is just a formality since no one is here to oppose it), we can collect everything for the next adoption's dossier. We are very thankful that many people have already purchased shirts for themselves/family!

Stuck!!

We are stuck in becuase of all the snow! Every single one of us are tired of winter! Too much snow! We can't wait until the nice warm spring/summer days!! It has been snowing here since 5:00 this morning, and has still not stopped. Our water stopped working this last Saturday! We had to get a new pump for the well becuase this one has a short in it. Thankfully we still had tubs of water in the basement from the storm preparations! It is fixed now and we are thankful! Stay safe!!

Skills and development

Jeremiah has recently started a program called First Steps, which helps him with his life skills and muscle skills. The one therapist comes to our house twice a month and the other one comes each week. They teach us some games to play with him. He was a premie, so he is a little delayed. We are very blessed that his congetive thinking skills are very high, but in other areas we are not doing so well. We try to focus on the good things but as we all know that is a very hard thing to do! Wil, on the other hand has not been doing so well off. He has a very hard time crossing the midline, focusing, and bonding. He goes to a special class at school to help with these problems. We are thankful that God has given us flexible hearts to deal with all of these difficult problems!!
